After Pregnancy

October 24, 2014

AFTER PREGNANCY. So... I gave birth to my daughter one and a half month ago - it was the happiest day of my life! I will share the post about it with all of you soon. I'm pretty much busy with taking care of my little one.

In Chinese tradition, I'm not allowed to go out for one month in order to avoid getting sick (mainly to avoid wind) - unless go to the doctor to check up my c-section scar and my baby's vaccination. In that one month, if you are strong enough, you shouldn't wash your hair. It's good for your health later (when you are old). Luckily, I was strong enough, even though it kinda make me feel frustrated. Ha-ha! Dry shampoo did help a lot, though!

With that, there was no way I could take outfit posts. >.< My hair was a mess and the c-section scar was still hurt too. I was also adjusting my new life. Taking care my little one isn't easy, but I enjoy every second of it. Watching her always bring a smile to my lips. Oh my! I can't wait to share all about her on my next post. She will become a big part of this blog! Maybe it's time for me to change my blog name. I'm not a miss anymore, but it can wait. I need to find a much more suitable name to represent the blog first.

Now, I'm pretty much ready to go out there and back to the fashion game. My first move is to write this post. Secondly, I will bring all my old clothing collections from my parents' home. Lol! A lot of my stuff is still there. The only things I have in my closet here is my maternity clothes. I moved to my new house when I was pregnant (around three months or so), so I was thinking there would be no point in bringing too many clothes that I wouldn't wear for months. But now, I'm in desperate need to get them back. Ha-ha!

The next thing is there will be a lot of wedding parties to attend to and so... I will need gown, gown, and more gown. Lately, I love wearing long prom gowns, somehow it makes me feel mature and I also love the flowy feeling when wearing them.

Here are a few examples of gowns that caught my eyes :

Aren't those gowns look so beautiful? They are stunningly sexy and yet elegant. That's the message that I want to get across when I go to a wedding party.

I'm thinking to bring my little one with me sometimes. So, it means matching dress! Thinking of it makes me feel so excited. Baby girl is certainly mommy's little fashion project! >.<

So... how about you? Do you love wearing what kind of gown to a party? What kind of message do you want to get across with the way you dress up? A penny for your thought ~ ^^

It's All About Comfort

August 10, 2014

COMFORT. While I am pregnant, I realize that comfortable clothing is number one. I can't wear super cute all-size clothing, because my upper body part totally can't fit in unless the material is super stretchy. But, well... even the super stretchy one is pretty much making me nauseous.

Here are few things that in my opinion - a must have!

1. Maternity Clothes

They are designed especially for mom-to-be. The material is stretchy and cool. The cutting is perfect for big breasts and stomach. It's super comfortable, but I never forget to choose the stylish ones too. They even have special designed pants (long and short) for preggo mommies with stretchy material only around the stomach. Being pregnant doesn't mean that you have to forget about fashion!

2. Tank top and Cardigans

My lazy look while pregnant is wearing tank top and cardigan. I can play with colors that way. Black tank top with red cardigan or Yellow tank top with black cardigan. Of course, for now- I bought a lot of new tank tops with bigger size.

3. Leggings

A must have! The stretchy waistband makes me can fit in to the most of them and they have so many stylish pattern. I usually combine leggings with tank top and cardigan. Easy, right? :D

4. Comfy Underwear

The size of my underwear changes along my pregnancy journey. It means shopping time! Yay! :D I have to choose the right size for me and of course more comfy material than before. For me, cotton underwear is the best! Anyway, I found a new online shop that got my interest lately, Zalora. Zalora's underwear products are super cute and pretty cheap.

There are still a lot of things that pregnant mommies need, but these four things are my must-have-items. Do you mind sharing to me your must-have-items? :D

Note : Please wait for my maternity photoshoot soon! ^^

LAZY DAY. Six month pregnant and getting bigger - making me super lazy (sometimes). Look! I'm getting chubbier now. It's one of those days, so hubby and I decided to take pictures in our bedroom. It's kind of fun and full of laughter.

Anyway, thanks to Hicustom.net for the super cute printed T-shirt. You can design the T-shirt on your own and the material is super comfy. Really really recommended!

I'm thinking of a great way to announce to the world my baby's gender. It's a girl! This design represent my thought exactly in the way I want and it didn't take long for me to choose this one. Simple but to-the-point.

Bridesmaid

April 29, 2014

In this post, I especially want to say thanks to my lovely bridesmaids. Dear Elsa, Hennie, Yuri... thank you very much for being there and share the happiest moment of my life with me. It means the world to me! Esp. Elsa who came far....away from Japan. I love you guys so much! :)

My wedding theme was all about lavender (with a mix of purple) and mint. So, it became my sweet bridesmaids' dresses. Don't they all look so lovely?

Anyway, I understand that my readers are sometime from another country. For you who lives in UK, I found a great website who offers a beautiful range of Cheap bridesmaid dresses - MissWeddingWear with affordable price.  For others, don't worry! They do ship worldwide.

I can find a lot of cute lavender, purple, and mint dresses - not only for bridesmaid, but also for your little flower girl. Not only that, you can also choose white dress like my bridesmaids with a hint of your theme colors on the ribbon!

For my bridesmaids, I prefer cute short dress rather than the long one. That way, the bride will look more stand out than the rest of the bridesmaids. Hey... Getting the spotlight on your wedding day isn't a crime right? :D

How about you? Share with me your wedding story or plan! :)
