Pastel Romance

Pictures by Fernando Prasetyo

PASTEL IS IN THE AIR. This spring . . . pastel is everywhere! I'm one of this trend's biggest fans! The color is very gorgeous and sweet, even for me. Well . . . I'm not a really girlie girl, but at least I feel like one when I'm wearing pastel colors. >.< My especially two favorite colors are mint and pink. That's why I decided to combine those two colors. Such a sweet combination, right?

Truthfully, I bought the Lil Princess Skirt in Turquoise Mint♥ a long time ago . . . but I couldn't find the right top from my closet. So, I just keep it deep inside my closet. Luckily, I found this top on the same shop where I bought the skirt, Gowigasa. The Soft Blush Top color is very soft pink and I think it matches perfectly with the skirt.

Look at the bag! The Pinky Tiffany Bag colors are almost the same with the color combination of the top and the skirt. The funny thing is I bought it from the same shop again >.< Just a coincidence?

My Wonderland

INSPIRATION. I bet we all have our own dreams, right? For me, these are some pictures that give me a glimpse of my own wonderland. These pictures are modeled by Kate Moss at The Ritz Hotel, Paris. For Vogue (US) April 2012.

I heart those shoes so much! It's so unique and yet at the same time . . . so cute >.< I also love the detail and the soft blue color of the dress. Both of those items complement each other perfectly.

Don't you just adore the mysterious effect? >.<

The picture makes me want to jump into the bath-up right away! Such a sweet pink dress. A perfect combination with the pink bubble. Girly and cute, but with killer shoes.

The exact same pose with the picture behind her! How creative! Kate Moss is a real beauty <3

Don't you just adore her hair accessories? I'm not going to wear it in real life, even if I own it (although maybe for a photo shoot just like her). But I admit it to myself that I want it so bad. >.<

Every girls' dream! Imagine the luxury of unlimited shopping experiences everyday and have a lot of Chanel in our life. Wow . . .

Look at the pic! How can you not love it? The concept of the beautiful maids. So classic.
Don't you love those scenes? I love how they made the picture look so glamorous. The luxury, the beauty, the fashion, the shopping experience, the maids. Those are my wonderland. What more do you want? Everything is perfect!

Tell me about your own wonderland? :D

The Heritage - Batik vs. Kimono

Pictures by Fernando Prasetyo

THE HERITAGE. This style is inspired by the definition of bohemian. Today, Bohemian Fashion Style is becoming more of a state of mind rather than just a look or a "fashion trend that will eventually fade in time". Dressing bohemian style is a way to express yourself and connect with the world and nature, as well as adorn yourself with the richest flavors of cultures. Today's global awareness is continuously strengthening this type of fashion.

I want to show the world the heritage of my country - Indonesia's ethnic, batik with a vintage feeling. I think it will be fun, if it's mixed with kimono style. A traditional clothing of Japan. Combining two different cultures and here are the results! :D

//The Look//

Kimono Batik Outer and Bracelet - Autumn Skye (The Heritage Series will be published soon, but the bracelet is SOLD OUT)
Necklace and Mustache Ring - Emit Poise
Brown Ankle Boots - Mondo

If you have time, please vote my look here : Chictopia and please hype here : Lookbook.

What do you think of this style?

A Letter To God

Like I said before, I'm actually a writer. :D Currently, I'm still writing at a website called Wattpad. This is a preview of my story that made it to the second round of Watty Award 2011. I didn't win, but at least I got the second place from the five top finalists. I hope you enjoy reading my preview and please beware, because this material is copyrighted. My work is my baby, so I hope you will appreciate my hard work and NOT COPYING IT. This had happened once and I didn't hesitate to bring the copycat down. :D

Please enjoy :

A Letter To God
By : Caroline Susanto

Dear God,

My name is Lynne. I am 9 years old. I live on Mahogany Street no. 88. If You reply my letter, please don't send it to the wrong address, God.

I write this letter because I need your help. I know that You have a lot of things to do. But, I hope you could spare your time for me, God. Sorry for bothering You.

First of all, thank you for giving me the best family ever, especially Daddy, my super-hero!
My Daddy is a good man. He is handsome, kind, patient, and not selfish unselfish. (Sorry God, I forgot Mr. Shane (my teacher) said that not selfish = unselfish). Daddy makes sure that I have everything, so it means unselfish right?

But You see, he hides something from me. He always tries to cover up something, uhm . . . I think his sadness, by smiling. That’s a bad thing, right? I want him to be really, really happy. I think he hides his loneliness, God.

I remember when Daddy used to give me piggy-back-rides when I was little. I always felt like I was the tallest little girl in the whole world.

I remember when he helped me build a tree house and told me that was our secret place to hide from Mommy when we stole her cookies. (I'm sorry God, I know that it’s a sin to steal something, but my Mom's cookies were so delicious! I couldn't resist them! I know that you would like them if you tasted them.)

But I also remember the pain that Daddy went through when he lost my Mommy. He always calls her the love of his life. I'm sorry again, God, I don't really remember Mommy because the last time I saw her was 4 years ago, I think? I can only dream about her, after Daddy telling me about her and showing me her pictures. I still remember her delicious cookies, though!

Please remember that it's only a little part of the story. I go straight to the main letter. I did that to avoid plagiarism. Once again, this story is only published in Wattpad and is copyrighted.

Special Thanks To Him

This is actually my first time writing a blog. I'm inspired by a lot of things, such as my favorite  fashion bloggers and the great need to share my passions to the world. All of this wouldn't happen without the help of my boyfriend, Fernando Prasetyo. Special thanks for you assistance and making me a great banner and logo up there! I love you so much! xoxoxo

This picture was taken on our trip to Singapore 2010.
